The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a murder and attempted suicide that left an 8-year-old girl dead Sunday morning.

fricking pathetic. Murder-suicide is absurd in the first place, but taking a child with you is abhorrent. This woman should and will rot in hell.

That is sad. The mother obviously has mental problems and I am sure, for some people, this past week hasn't help anyone who does have mental issues. Either way, its a lose-lose situation, but its sad an 8 year old had to die.

It's an incredibly sad situation all around. Sounds like she has schizophrenia. As a human being, I don't think she deserves death (assuming she's schizo), but she will likely be institutionalized for the rest of her life.
