Daiquiris Supreme on Johnston use to pack the women, probably still does. Not sure if they still have live music. Agave Downtown has smaller acts.

If I was 32 I would live in River Ranch and chase Lafayette's outstanding Milf at the Fresh Market or Whole Foods.

I just moved out here last summer after graduating from LSU. They don't rage here like BR but we have a great time at corner bar and some of the Jefferson street bars. Blue moon has good music but that crowd gets weird as frick. As somebody mentioned earlier this place is cliquish but Im living with a college buddy whos from carencro so I got lucky there. Oh, and check out pizza village, get some boudin from dons, and Kolachis from meche's.

I know that it's a chain, but Mellow Mushroom has really good pizza. Deano's is one of my favorites also. Teak's has one of the best burgers around, especially with the sautéed mushrooms and onions. Teak's definitely has the best nachos. Order with extra cheese and beef. For seafood, Fezzo's. Pricey but worth it. If you don't mind driving to Lake Charles, go to Darrel's PoBoys and order the Surf and Turf. You won't regret it. Sorry to turn this into a food thread. I can't help you on the music scene.

There's live music playing all the time in Lafayette. I don't know what you want to listen to but they have a variety of shite. It's actually pretty cool to go to the cellar at Bisbano's and listen to jazz

I didn't realize that Bisbano's was still around. I loved that place, back in the day.
