I won $200 on one and almost tossed it before I figured out it was a winner...
The one that got away was someone won $1,000,000 on a scratch-off in this store in GA on a game I was playing just a week earlier.

I don't buy scratch offs but I do buy lotto tickets.
IQ is well above 90, I don't smoke, don't gamble (other than lotto), and don't drink excessivley. Yet some a-hole decided to call me out for buying lotto tickets as he purchased his carton of cigs and 6-pack.

In college one Saturday night me and my buddy drove into austin to party on 6th street. He stopped for gas and bought some cigarettes and a stratch off
Won $800 and he was from money so he said frick it and cashed out and we had one of the best nights ever. We were 22 and this was in 2002 in a college town where most drinks were $2-3 and free admission to da club

Two scratch off stories
1. My son and I go to the store, I win a free $2 ticket. We go to another store and win $18 bucks on two $1 tickets. Wound up driving around for an hour getting scratch offs and wound up plus $12.
2. Wife and I get two separate scratch offs in Bridgeport, TN. I win $40 and she wins $30.

200$ but my ex boss won 10 mill on a 50$ in Texas. It was a progressive jackpot won in '09. Only 3 in Texas. Now the jackpot is only 7.5 mil. Bummer
