Most of us will never have to worry about getting too old to drive.

By the time im in my 60's. Self driving cars will be everywhere.

That brings up another interesting question. Since people won't have to drive everywhere, will more people stay hammered all day?

I stay in prime physical shape and have raced cars, so I never worry about being too old to drive.

I would not want a self-driving car.

Sounds like a good retirement plan.

Did we need self driving cars as an excuse to stay drunk all day to begin with?

Why isn't the plural of "moose", "meese"?

Are you 50 now? Because it won't be long.

This is how the robots will get us. Fool us into a false sense of security wth their self driving technology, then when we're doing 90 on the freeway after drinking a fifth of vodka, KITT says, "Dare you to drive." We have only ourselves to blame.

So, how will insurance work, make the vehicle builder responsible? Parking, how will it know where to park and at what time it's legal? If it knows then it'll have to have wi/fi or similar which will cost. Haven't looked into it therefore the questions.

My guess is that it's still the responsibility for the person in the drivers seat to assume control of the car in case something should happen/to prevent something from happening.
