Did any of you guys chase the mosquito spray truck around the neighborhood when you were young? We used to run behind his truck for about a hundred yards jumping through the spray. Good summer memories

Did you and your friends eat a lot of paint chips as well?

No. We'd yell "Mosquito Maaaan!" and run to the backyard or inside. It stunk.

That's the absolute dumbest fricking thing I've ever heard.

No, even as young as I was, I still understood it was poison.

What the frick is wrong with you? You're supposed to follow on your bike until you wake up with a face full of pavement.

I accidentally drove thru the fog with the windows down once in Metairie. It was not fun, but I don't think it caused any serious damage.

No, but my dad did back in the 50s when they used DDT in the trucks. I'm surprised he and a lot of his generation are still kicking today.

few years ago my distant cousin was telling me how when they were kids they would play in the fog from the truck. This was an exact quote: "its a wonder it didn't kill us". At the moment she was telling all this she had lung, bone and brain cancer. she was buried a few months after our little chat.

struck me as funny, for some reason...

They would go by in the middle of the night in my small town in Illinois in the 60s and 70s. Flashing yellow lights looking creepy in the fog that the truck left behind.

I used to run to the window when the "Skeeter trucks" came by.

If we were playing basketball you would hold it for the last shot. If you missed it didn't matter because nobody stuck around for the rebound. Everyone ran inside

Ya'll didn't have an Ice cream truck, or were you getting it confused with one?
