That's it. You know someone it happened to and had a conversation with a few people about this happening to other people. That's a big enough sample to assume it is happening more now than ever.

It's probably like a lot of other things today. Just because you hear about it now doesn't mean it didn't happen in the past. I would think it would actually happen less since people are getting married later in life, but I really have no data to back that up.

a friend of mine cheated on his wife a lot. I asked him how he didn't get caught. He told me he always picked a woman who had as much to lose as he did (money, family, etc.). Everyone involved had a vested interest in keeping it quiet. he also made sure the woman was just in it for the sex, thrill, etc.- not a long term relationship.
He assured me there were plenty of women willing to step out on their husbands just for a fling. not a divorce, more of an intermission.

Can you elaborate?

First, i am not atheist. I do believe in a higher power, but not so much in the traditional way. There are many religions, each one believes their religion is the "right one".

Anyway, there have been many church scandals that have happened since the beginning of religions. How can you say that religion is the answer? There are good people who don't really identify with a religion who live "cleaner" than a lot of people who claims to be a strong "god fearing" person.

This is why I'm on the peptides...
