I've got two FB friends who sell It Works! crap. they're both appear to be living carefree extravagant lives and one of the husbands even quit his job. So I guess it works for some people. These two girls are very outgoing and personable so I can see how they'd be successful. What I don't believe is that all THEIR friends are also making tons of money doing it. Who the hell is buying all that shite?

I found out my wife bought the "it works" fat wraps one time.... I blew my fricking lid!! She gave me a bullshite excuse about buying it because her friend was selling it. I told her to just write her friend a check and don't take any product. Just give her money and then they can be friends.

What a fricking useless world we live in

If there were realtors that could provide actual financial advice and real estate expertise they would be worth their weight in gold. But, every realtor just meets you at a house and shows you around. Everyone knows how to look at a house.

Give me crime stats, how is the neighborhood as far as landscaping and cars parked on the street, where are home values trending in that neighborhood, any section 8 apartments going up nearby, is the town going bankrupt, is the HOA going bankrupt, what does next door say or people that live in the neighborhood, etc etc. It is nothing to pay a realtor 5 figures these days for a home sale and walking around a house isn't worth that. People are making the largest purchase of their life and the person facilitating the transaction knows nothing but how to stroll you around a house.

Their prices are going down because of the little value they provide and because there are so many. Used to be 6% but you can negotiate down. Best thing to do is pay to list on MLS and offer to pay buyers realtor their half of fees.

Realtors are the worst because they make people believe they do something. At least everyone knows MLM schemes are what they are.

No clue. Every time I look at the profiles of different people leaving positive comments on these posts, its ALWAYS people that sell the "product" as well.

Let me translate: any activity that seems remotely "cool" or "carefree" gets attributed to the product. Even every day activities get the treatment. Eating breakfast? Snap photo of food, caption with "I love the stress free breakfast my 'insert product name' lifestyle gives me. #dreamscometrueaskmehow"and upload.
The husband? Lost his job, attribute it to the wife making a fortune, and sign up more people.

I guess at some point the pyramid will collapse but those that achieve the "Level 5" status are making some serious money.
What baffles me is to listen to them talk about how much they make and all the trips they take and wonder what they gals under them think when it's their efforts that are allowing the others to live high
It is the same as working at any company if you think about it. People at the bottom do most of the work, the higher you are up in management the more you get paid and the less you do (in alot of cases, not all), they get to take company trips and have fun and eat at the private dining hall. That is capitalism

Most of these aren't pyramid schemes. I've been an investor in many multi level marketing operations and the chance to be your own boss is literally life changing and can turn your life around

Definitely the pyramid schemers. How they don't see how retarded it is, is beyond me.

A female acquaintance was selling It Works. She was double platinum or some shite and "earning" free cruises, going to the convention in Tampa etc... She wore It Works clothes etc.... Then all of a sudden there is no more mention of It Works and now she's selling Thrive. I've always wanted to ask her that if It Works, why does she still weigh 200lbs?

When someone I know announces on FB that they're a rep for plexus/advocare, they go to ignore. If they start messaging, it's a block.
