All 50 states "ranked". Guess the bottom four.

Rank of all 50 states

I've said it before and I will say it again, in the past decade or so Mississippi and Alabama have surpassed Louisiana and it's not even close. It's embarrassing. Still would probably rather live here and deal then live in a liberal-run hellscape like his number one state Washington.

My guess for bottom four in no order:

Louisiana
Mississippi
Alabama
West Virginia

Alabama definitely has passed LA.

Mississippi is kind of a head scratcher.

As far as Alabama is concerned, specifically living in Birmingham, it’s a nice travel hub. A short ride to the Smokies and anywhere from Gulf Shoes to PCB, and all places in between. Add in outdoor rec options across the state, good food scene, international flights out of Atlanta, and cheap cost of living, it really isn’t a bad place to be.

ETA: feeling risqué, NOLA isn’t a far drive either. Nashville, easy too.

If Alabama is always near the bottom why are so many fricking people coming to this state?

These lists are made by Yankee elitists who look down on the south.

Personal preference I’d absolutely rather live in Louisiana Mississippi Alabama or West Virginia opposed to New York or New Jersey

I've traveled to almost every state and there are plenty of places in most of them I'd live in the Deep South over. Quality of life is very localized for the most part.

Briggs World has always had it in for Louisiana. This is the same guy who lives in Washington state that said ANTIFA was just a bunch of rowdy kids.

Meh. I'd much rather live in LA (50) than WA (1). If you have a little cash then living in LA is just fine.

Yes, and if California is so bad for business why do so many big companies that went from nothing to something recently come out of California?

Nothing makes sense.

I didn’t say it was about red vs blue. I just said it’s about the Yankees looking down on the south. The states you listed aren’t the south.

These Yankee liberals think that if a state doesn’t have X amount of targets per capita, that it’s quality of life is low. IMO being behind the times is a good thing. Progress is not always a good thing. I actually hate it.

Did Governor Pappy O’Daniels teach him public speaking?

There are places in Mississippi that are extremely nice and well run. I’d take Ocean Springs over anything in Louisiana

Chicken should start a “shite on Louisiana” board.

Since it seems disparaging threads about Louisiana, Baton Rouge, New Orleans… are a daily occurrence.

Not necessarily you, but it seems like a lot of people posting in these threads are unhappy and would be miserable no matter where they lived.
