It was a tough call because the girl did agree to come down and get in his limo at 1:30 am and go to his hotel room, but the testimony of Tyson limo driver of how shell shocked the girl was afterwards was pretty damning as well as the medical testimony.

I think either the chick was incredibly naive or star struck to go to his hotel if she never intended sex or, more likely, she consented to sex but it was much more brutal than she had expected and felt abused or raped after the fact.

Just bought Tyson's book few weeks ago. Great read thus far. From what I can google about the rape conviction and mike's comments about it in the book I'm not so sure he should've been convicted.

Eta: I thought this was rather tame for a Tyson blow up. I think he's doing great.

Tyson in his book admits to being an alcoholic, drug addict, thief, manic depressive, sexual deviant/addict, thug, & wife beater, but "what I will continue to say until they put me in the ground. I did not rape Desiree Washington. She knows it, God knows it, and the consequences of something that she's got to live with for the rest of her life."
