That calls on you to be a bigger and better person. Are you (and the majority of this board) that weak and devoid of a moral pulse that others peoples actions, which don't even pertain to your own life, cause you to hold vile, despicable and empty opinions and sentiments about people.

I wonder at times bout how mentally weak this board is, and how others mishaps "drive them" to hate...if anything that moral compass probably wasn't there before these incidents.

Is it that hard to raise above low life judgemental behavior?

Be better and do better.

i believe SS is a big proponent of Victim Privilege

the definitive article on this mindset

quote:

What has been most startling to me, even more so than the incident itself, have been the reactions I’ve gotten. I kept hearing “thugs,” “criminals” and “bad people.” While I understand why one might jump to that conclusion, I don’t think this is fair.

Not once did I consider our attackers to be “bad people.” I trust that they weren’t trying to hurt me. In fact, if they knew me, I bet they’d think I was okay. They wanted my stuff, not me. While I don’t know what exactly they needed the money for, I do know that I’ve never once had to think about going out on a Saturday night to mug people. I had never before seen a gun, let alone known where to get one. The fact that these two kids, who appeared younger than I, have even had to entertain these questions suggests their universes are light years away from mine.

the author of this article thinks it's a jump to conclude a mugger a "criminal"

What's scary is he probably isn't, and actually believes what he is saying.

This. His arguments are some of the weakest I've ever seen on this board. He's the OT equivalent of Sharpton.

She lost her son years before he got his stupid arse shot.

I have zero compassion for human garbage. Take that whole fricking crew off the planet and we lose NOTHING, but gain valuable resources that could be used on deserving and truly needy people.

Good point. We will never know the grief a mother who has her child feels. But I will say this, from what little we know about her son, one of the main reasons he ended up in that store stealing those cigars and accosting that clerk and then ended up laying dead in the streets shortly thereafter is because she did a shitty job teaching her son right from wrong. More than anyone else, besides Brown himself, the responsibility for what happened that day lays with her and his father(s). This whole affair is another Sad example of the death of the black family. People wonder why so many black kids end up dead, jail, or strung out? Look no further than their homes and what they are taught from the day they are born on up. The black community is producing very few real men and instead are producing Michael Browns. The sad truth is that even had he not been killed that day, he was already set for a life of nothingness beyond bring a thug and criminal, just a product of his world.

he has not once addressed a valid point made by someone with a valid point of his own. all he does is present some narrative that you didn't even suggest and then argues against that. or just calls you racist.

I agree with the rest of your post, but you're giving her WAY too much credit with this line. doing a shitty job of teaching her kid right from wrong would be better than the nothing she did to teach him that.

I see what you're saying. I did not realize she basically had abandoned him. Hearing this actually makes me pity Michael Brown. He was a kid that was set up for failure by the laziness of his sorry parents. And what makes this tragedy complete is there is zero chance the black community learn anything from the wasted life of Michael Brown.

Look at this situation and the situation of Lutzenkirchen's dad to see how differently certain parents handle tragedy.

Lutz's dad goes around to various sports teams and basically tells them his son made a bad choice one night and paid for it with his life.

This bitch goes around blaming everyone but her son, and I'm 110% sure Lutz's dad was more of a factor in his life than Brown's "mother" was in his.

The black community is going to make it worse because they are pimping a false narrative. The refusal of black leaders and liberals to acknowledge this will exacerbate the problem.

Boy I knew I would get a few but thirty four is a little more than I expected

I hope none of y'all ever have to experience the pain of losing a child.

I really don't know how I would react with the loss of one of my kids this way, no one wants to believe their kids are not sweet and innocent Angels. But in this case the facts are the facts and it appears this kid was no angel.

The mother could be using this moment to spread the word to other parents, to try and raise their kids correctly and be a better role model for them. Also she could be using this to educate other kids that there are always consequences when up you choose this lifestyle.

It would be much better than blaming the white man and the police for every injustice that happens to people of color.
