Sounds like someone took the time to take the plug out, planned prior to doing so...
Someone also commented that the mother is a "person of interest"... But isn't it always the spouse questioned first...

IMO, this was not a random act of violence. This was some kind of hit. The article also mentioned the daughter as a "college age kid living at home" but was not at home at the time of the shooting.......hmmmm. It's odd to me the mother seemed rather calm after her husband and son were blown to pieces with a shotgun in the living room. 5 shotgun blasts in any home would be VERY loud. Something about this whole story smells.

Mom is involved. Considering where the bodies were its a damn good chance they knew the shooter.

well if a shotgun was used and she didn't "hear" it then I would look to her first, for sure. No mater what lunchpail says.

Wow. Surely someone heard something.

If it's not murder suicide as we've been told and the mom heard the shots, entered the room and encountered no shooter, then who else could it be?

Well, that is the golden question, isn't it?

Any updates on the story?

Nope not much as of right now. JPSO is staying pretty quiet on it.

I think they know who did it. Just piecing the evidence before tipping off the media. I dont blame them.
I think media releases too much info sometimes and can potentially give off info for killers to clean up their tracks.

Yea, because I totally said you wouldn't hear a shotgun in your own home while awake. As usual, it's tards like you that don't bother comprehending what I say then try to act like I'm the idiot.

It wasn't the mom directly-because no weapon was found. She could have hired someone obviously.
The neighbors said that their child's bike was found misplaced, and the seat was lifted-someone tried to ride it, and aborted when they realized they couldn't really get away on a child's bike. Was that the murderer? Perhaps.
But if it was truly an orchestrated "hit" put on by the mother, then I highly doubt the child's bike has anything to do with it. Nevertheless, the police are interested in the bike, because they took it into the lab.
Very interesting, and incredibly sad/disgusting incident. Will be interesting to see where it goes.

White family. Very good people. I know them personally.
Btw, for those saying the mother didnt hear gunshots or was calm afterwards, that was not true and was simply bad writing / reporting by the media. She was frantic / hysterical on the phone with 911 and when the cops arrived.

Must be a manpower shortage with the JPSO to allow all these criminal acts to take place this year.

Its weird, the article I read on NOLA.com didn't even really mention the mother at all...

Two murders in the same neighborhood on the same night doesn't bode well for the JPSO. This particular neighborhood has more murders today than Hollygrove has had this year and equal to the number of murders in the Lower Ninth Ward.
Like I said shite is getting out of hand in Metry and Newell Normand has let the criminals take over.

How is there "glass breaking" and "no signs of forced entry"? Coffee table maybe

Framed pictures on the wall? Glass cup? There are a lot things in a room of a house that could be made up of glass.
