I don't wear one anymore. When my wife insisted I wear one I used a v75 210 oring. Cost about 10 cents a piece and I had an unlimited supply of them at work. I'm also trashy

I got simple white gold which was much cheaper back then. You're gonna want to buy spares now so when you lose it your wife won't know

I got the non-poor 18k gold made with palladium to be grey gold. Ring made by Niessing, a German company, with a fiberglass finish. Round inside, vaulted outside.

When my now ex made me buy a replacement ring this is what I got $80.

Now my GF wears it on her finger now. I melted down mine and my exs original rings and donated them to the bottom of the red river.

I just wish I could get all the diamond rings and necklace I bought her over 15 years back.

Just get platinum and forget about it. I've had one on my finger for 15 yrs and I do all kinds of heavy lifting, I'm swole.

I didn't think about the cost of my ring, just what I liked looking at.

I got the alternative metal type. Around $300. It still scratches, but doesn't "gouge" deep like gold would. I still wish I would have just gotten gold since it can be polished and resized.

It is nice that it doesn't scratch. I've worn it doing dead lifts and turning wrenches without worrying. But it hurts like hell keeping it on for stuff like that sometimes, so I'd rather have just gotten gold and had the discipline to take it off.
