I just looked it up in the dsm-5(wife is in counseling). Gender dysphoria is defined as the distress associated with the incongruence between assigned gender and Ones expressed/experienced gender. It goes on to say that biomedical treatment that removes the incongruence can be used to relieve the distress.

It's a stretch to say this hurts family. My child sees transgender people frequently and never notices. If you don't react, call them by their chosen gender, kids don't notice. I don't explain transgender or tell her there is no Santa. She is a kid. The people who have probla with this are adults. Family is eroded by much worse things.....drugs, infidelity, lack of fathers....not by Bruce Jenner evolving into Caitlyn....seriously get some perspective.

It's not news. It's not even interesting. Transgender isn't even an oddity anymore. But to blame the decline of family values on this lady is a cop out.

That's just faux outrage and wanting to act like this is the end of the "Typical American family". People want to find a cause to blame/praise.

I guess he did transformed into a woman because Kris clipped his balls off along time ago. She took his manhood than drove his arse bat shite crazy.

I saw the Pic of the mag cover and it looks like it had been done already... A great tape job I guess................. Just the idea of some doc lancing my nuts off is disturbing....And then ceating a structure that resembles a vay jay is even more disturbing... I have had some health issues since Feb and have had to have a lot f work near and in my anus... Miserable I tell ya.... But this dude wants his package replaced....

You act like any half decent parent would and sit down with them and explain to them, some people have mental illnesses and this is one of them. Instead of just leaving them in front of the tv trying to figure it out on their own.

Michael Sam now Bruce Jenner in drag winning a courage award. Kind of diminishes the Medal of Honor winners a bit to define a man wearing a dress as courage.
