I regret my first marriage

Ah, the O-T, where everyone who is single slays at least two OT 8s a week and has to beat OT 7s and below off with a stick, travels overseas for vacation once a month and is the envy of all his friends.
To be fair this can be said too. Both situations have their pros and cons. However, at least a few forever single guys on the OT act like they are fricking Dan Bilzerian.

Why don't you? Every now and then I say adios and I go fishing and camping in remote mountain areas for a few days. Days apart do us good

Not at all. The key is marrying the right person and you have to grow up.

Depends on the cycle we are in, lol. Marriage is good in how it meets a lot of goals. Better to raise a family and accomplish things. Sometimes the differences are hard to take though.

I don't know I've never been married, I can say though that I don't regret that one bit.

peaks and valleys, that is all. As someone married for a longtime, you need your space and outings alone with friends, not with your significant other.

I don't regret marrying my ex, but I don't regret divorcing him, either. I'm scared to death to remarry.

I prefer posting on the OT and porn, so most days I regret it.

I'll rank them in this order
1. Good marriage
2. Single life
3. Drowning
4. Burned alive
5. Other elaborate torture
6. Death
7. Bad marriage
So obviously people's opinion will differ depending on their marital experience.
Very well-stated. It's all about your personal experience- if you are married to a hag no doubt there are regrets and if married to a great partner all is good. If single and still pulling attractive, quality women there's nothing better in my book. Personally, I love being single and can't fathom being married but I have plenty of married friends who are very happy and have no regrets.

Yes
X 2
I have a weird attraction to females that love getting married, but don't like staying married.

I's be curious to see what the wives of the "regret" crowd look like and how that correlates with their response.

Regret getting married , no

It is ok for the most part but i do have some regrets. I wish i had married someone that shared more of my hobbies since that is where most conflict arises lately. Oh and the fact that intimacy is a fraction of what it once was.... If i could do it again i would have waited another 5-10 years for sure.

When I find out people say "He must be packing a side of beef" or "How much money does he have?" When they see me and my wife together... I regret absolutely nothing. Marry a young un, baws. Just make sure you can keep up.

I'm divorced five years now and I enjoy the freedom.
I have a couple of friends that I have no idea why they stay married. They are married to hags who don't let them do a damn thing. They are afraid to even ask to do stuff most of the time. These guys... I don't even ask to do stuff anymore.

What's funny is the wife and I really don't share the same hobbies, but are willing to do them sometimes just so we can be together.
Good marriages= Art of Compromise + good sex.

I do not regret having a long term monogamous relationship with my wife, but we both agree if we were to do it again we wouldn't get married. We would still have the same relationship, just not a marriage certificate.
we have been together for 23 years, and married for 19.
