It was, I'm convinced now with this one something strange is going on.

And 3-4 people in this thread agreeing to me makes me feel the original Berenstein thing is probably being altered as well. I was on the fence for a while with that one, once I did research on Chic-fil-a trying to pass itself as Chick-fil-a from the beginning I gave in to the Mandela effect.

I remember pronouncing it sheik jokingly because there was a brand of women's jeans called Chic that was pronounced that way.

I remember it being a slightly different color. Never paid enough attention to what the actual color was. But the tvs back when the original movies came out weren't all that good.

If you go to youtube, enter "mandela effect" in search and use filter "this week" - you can see the insane amount of new videos being posted about this.

No thanks. It's funny to me that people believe this stuff. I don't need to go through a bunch of videos of crazies.

Chic-fil-a

Is the correct answer. I noticed when the spelling changed and saw it changed everywhere. Felt like I was in the Truman Show

Not read whole thread. Quiz here

quote:

Over 500 people have responded here are some data about their answers? 90% remember it as Berestein Bears, 72% remember it as Sex in the City, 74% remember it as "Luke, I am your father," only 39% of people knew the right number of Nasa missions, 93% thought it was Mirror Mirror, 80% thought it was Interview with a Vampire, 88% thought it was "If you build it they will come," and 61% thought it was O+. Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Branch Davidians were included as controls and 95% of people got Buffy right and 76% got Branch Davidians right (the vast majority of people getting Davidians wrong admit to guessing the answer, so for those that were moderately and extremely confident it was closer to 95%) (there was no controversy surrounding those two questions). Now that you have seen data what do you think is the root cause of the Mandela Effect? (oddly enough only 13% of this survey thought Mandela died in prison)

I remember it being Berenstein. I had so many of those books and my mom would read them to me all the time. I probably read those books cover to cover over 200 times between ages 4 and 7. I distinctly remember it being spelled with "ei" because my last name has an "ei" and I spotted the similarity when I was a kid.

So I took that test, and had to put guess, and not answer about 3-4 of them cause I didn't know. I scored a 16 out of 22. Either most of the people taking that test are just dumb, or I just have a great memory for some things. Either way, this is a bunch of bullshite.

If you build it, he will come.

Ease his pain.

Go the distance.

He said "If you build it, HE will come". He was talking to him about his father. How some folks frick this up, I'll never know.
