As the Superbowl comes before us, do any of you often have (typically irrational) fears of an attack happening? I know security will be extremely tight and alert, but this day and age, I often worry about an attack happening. It doesn't matter if it's the Superbowl., World Cup, Olympics, The Oscar's, etc...it just always lingers in the back of my head. I guess it's the day in age we all live in.

I don't agonize over it. But I think it has somewhat less of a chance at a big event because the security makes it a harder target.

They security at professional events make them less of a target. What I see as the biggest threats to be targeted are college sporting events and Mardi gras and other parades.

Much much more likely to die from someone texting while driving. Do you think of that every time you get on the road?

That's the literal definition of TERRORism. To make the public scared of the unknown. Scared people make emotional/irrational decisions.

Yeah, it's mostly what I think about. The bottom line is that terrorism is everywhere all the time, it's not a matter of if, but when each of us will be killed by terrorists. No one is safe.

The thought of a reckless driver doing something stupid and hurting me or my family definitely crosses my mind every time I get on the road.

I'm always more afraid of an attack at Mardi Gras in New Orleans than anywhere else in the states. Too many people in one place at one time.

This. I've had several family members killed by terrorism. Just last month my great uncle died of a terrorist orchestrated heart dysthymia. I don't even know how they hacked his heart but those frickin brown skins did it
