Advocate has an article in it today about to prayer rally with bobby jindal to be featured, is going to be protested because it is sponsored by American family association. I've had enough of this 1-2 percent of the population trying to cause controversy every time I turn around

You're not OUTRAGED? These days if you believe in anything you have to show it to the world by being OUTRAGED about the opposite position. IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO SHOW YOU CARE.

This issue is that it's being held at the PMAC, which is part of a public institution. Separation of church and state and all that.

Also, the event is being is financed by the American Family Association, which is classified as a hate group.

For real, so-called "Outrage Porn" is just like regular porn: masturbatory, pointless, and sad when it is over.

This is why I don't like Republicans. Or Democrats for that matter.

As long as no one is harmed or forced to do it I'm all for it, and I'm an atheist.

The PMAC allows non-affiliated entities to rent the facility at market rates. Who cares what they do as long as it's legal and they pay market rate?

From my understanding people are upset because the prayer rally is being funded by a hate group, they aren't upset because people are praying.

Seriously. The Jehovah's Witnesses filled Washington's football stadium for a rally a couple months ago. I'm not a religious guy but who gives a shite.

It doesn't make a bit of difference to me one way or the other. I was just informing as to why some were having an issue with it.

If it were me, I would have found a different venue to avoid the hassle and headache but that's just my opinion.
