Louisiana comes in at number 10, with 15.1 guns for every 1,000 residents. That's 69,668 registered firearms among 4,625,470 people.

Here, a salesman at Precision Firearms & Indoor Range in Baton Rouge stands next to a rack of semi-automatic rifles.

I'm sure we'd get a nice bump if they could get an accurate count from Central City, NO East, etc.

I'm disappointed. You mean to tell me, at least before I lost them to the volcano, that I was holding the guns for more than 1,000 people?

When the enemy invades, they will start in the north. And they will stay there.

"Registered firearms"? That is a shitty statistics to use for Louisiana. 69,000 firearms in Louisiana? bullshite. I would be willing to bet there are certain parishes with more guns than this. My home parish being one.

a lot of guns that are used for hunting are not registered,
most people I know have several guns not sure what they are considering registered.
The only gun I have registered is one hand gun that I bought at a gun show.

That's a good point. I probably have 12-15 firearms. None of which are registered.

The only registered firearms in LA are NFA items i.e. short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, fully automatic firearms, destructive devices and suppressors. All the guns you buy at a local gun store are not registered that form you fill out for the instant background check is retained by the store of purchase for a couple years and thats it. It does not go into a national registry unless our shady gov. is doing something they aren't telling us about
