We have a Thermador. It's great and nearly silent. It's hard to tell if it's running, it shines a little blue light on the ground so you know it's on.

We just bought a Kitchenaid from Lowe's, about a month ago. Gave about $800 for it, so far so good. It is so quit you cant hear it running.

we really wanted a bosch because of the above mentioned fact that they are super-quiet, but went with a GE Profile so all the appliances would match. I have zero complaints about this dishwasher... and I complain about EVERYTHING.

Thanks that was very helpful. Seems like no one offers free install. I have been told that it is pretty easy to install yourself.

Yw. Save your money and install it yourself. I did and I'm no pro. Just check out a few "how to" videos on YouTube and you should be good to go. Was actually pretty impressed with myself and the wife was pleased. ;-)

Just bought one. Intended to go Bosch but the newest generation apparently has an issue. When it goes through the drying cycle, the heating causes the latch to release. This was according to multiple folks we spoke with on the appliance floor and a repair guy.

Not to dispute this claim but we've had our Bosch for about 2 years and have never experienced this issue. Super quiet, cleans superbly, and looks nice to boot. Can highly recommend.

We bought a Bosch in July. I love having three racks. I put all the utensils in the top rack and took out the utensils basket from the bottom rack. I have so much room to put stuff compared to my 17-year old Kitchenaid. It is great. Quiet and cleans really well. Did get free installation from Best Buy. Price seemed to be pretty much the same everywhere at the time.

Kitchen Aid, Kenmore, and Whirlpool are the same. All made by Whirlpool.

Sorry bout the divorce bro

I honestly thought this was a divorce thread. Can't help with a "brand" for your "dishwasher" OP
