I get it it's the airport, but goddamn every one of these Atlanta natives has the biggest piss-poor attitude, with absolutely zero concept of customer service.
How did they climb the employment ladder to even these entry level jobs? I guess someone has convinced them that having to work for an hourly wage is the equivalent to modern day slavery.
Been here 5 hours already, and everywhere I go in the terminal it's like they're cloning these slap-dicks. fricking ridiculous.

Yeah the $50 is worth it for a day pass if you're there for over 2 or 3 hours. OP why didn't you do that/where are you headed to?

Seriously - I'd consider getting the AMEX Platinum even if you only fly 2-3 times a year. Free club access, free tsa pre-check / global entry, and $200 on any airline of your choice.

I've always assumed that the workers at ATL have some sort of political patronage job. Because they've always had the worst attitude of any place I've ever been in the States. They seem to know they won't get fired no matter what.

Very few places don't. The only two places I can think of that don't are my tailor and johnny's pizza.

I'm through there at least 2-4 times a month. The Delta employees are fine and if I get any food it's from Atlanta Bread, CFA, or Verasano's Pizza...service has always been fine.
