I was sitting in my car at a stop light in BR this morning, when two deputys jump out of the woods and start pacing through traffic, I suppose to look at inspection stickers.
Both were obese, and in addition to lowered hip holsters on their bloused cargo pants and combat boots, one had a tactical vest that could probably hold 12 magazines complete with carabiner on the top.
It's hard to take any LEO seriously when physical fitness has obviously been removed as a requirement and they dress increasingly more like the air soft rangers that frequent the poliboard.
Whatever happened to protect and serve?

If a cop has that as his reason for being a cop, it's out of the goodness of his own heart.
They don't have a legal obligation to protect you.

I've seen an inspection checkpoint twice recently on industriplex
The only people driving down industriplex at 7:30 am are good people going to work. How about a checkpoint on plank road at 9pm on a Friday or something

Oh and yes, I have a pet peeve about LE trying to dress like they're in a Ranger Battalion or something. They look like clowns. They should stop.
