i could argue this is the exact point; more publicity = more people either outraged or intrigued with the idea of atheism. all publicity is good publicity.

isn't that being an agnostic?

What age was Adam when he was created? 21, 32? If you saw him the next day you would have had no idea that he was one day old.
One thing is certain, nothing died until Adam was here and sinned,

Romans 5:12 NKJV - Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned--

Yes which =/= atheist

It might be the point of some atheists, but it is a counter-productive battle and I wish they would go about this in a more delicate manner. What people believe is a very fragile and sensitive subject, you shouldn't make a public spectacle out of it.

so you ok with atheism activists going around and removing prayer from basketball games & nativity scenes from town squares?

First, he didnt say that.

Second, this is such a hypocritical stance. Lets start putting Islamic icons in front of court houses and rolling out prayer mats before sporting events and see just how long christians keep quite about it.

You havent been looking very hard. There are not merely numerous examples, but numerous relatively famous examples.

Here's a list of relatively well known theist to atheist/agnostic "conversions".

LINK

Among them there were many reasons for conversion, and some had incredibly powerful life experiences that led to their loss of belief.

I tend to think that theists, especially those who have always been theistic in belief, don't understand just how painful a loss of faith often is. It frequently isn't some flippant decision.
