I've got an old Orvis Waxed Cotton bed that is ready to be retired after about a year and a half. I think for my dog's sake, I wanna go with a memory foam style but prices are all over the place. Do yall recommend a certain brand? I would prefer something I can easily wash, but that's not a deal breaker. Dog is about 75lbs and long.

Our dog- kills me to admit it's mine- bites and fights his bed. Then humps it.

We think he is a rapist.

He's skinny and is uncomfortable sleeping on the hard ground. There are times he has no option and can suck it up, but for home I want something he can relax on.

I had the same luck with the ovris beds. They don't last at all.

I picked one up from Academy and it still looks good after a year and a half. Heard good things about the LLbean beds

Again, he doesn't stay put on the floor. He's a pointer and always moving and pacing around, so if a good bed means him staying put/sleeping for longer, my wallet is open.

My mutt refused her bed and insists on sleeping in her crate with her blanket. I bought her a memory foam bed, and it never took.

Tons of choices here. I have two of the Kimlor 40inch round ones and they have held up after 3 years. Over 700 reviews with a 4.5 avg star rating on that particular one. Costco has some as well that look to be a good value. No need to get memory foam for a dog .

At first I thought your title said "dog breeds"

In which case, the Boston terrier is obviously the best

Great dog, but I'm on my second Springer Spaniel, and she is an absolute delight, just like my last.

Our dogs love their Koolaroo elevated beds. They are mesh fabric beds on a frame a few inches off the floor. Supportive and comfortable, and let's the air flow around them. Pretty well priced on Amazon.

My outside lab made quick work of every bed I bought him. Then I found a bed just for labs that advertised itself as virtually indestructible. It lasted 48 hrs.

I then bought several burlap sacks.Stitched them together with burlap twine. (The bed is 4-5 burlap sacks thick on each side) Stuffed with cedar chips. Put slotted angle iron around the seams. I can easily replace the chips. The slotted angle iron prevents the lab from chewing and also allows me a sturdy way of anchoring the dog bed to the dog house.

It has lasted over 1 year. Best dog bed ever.
