My bad.

First we got a fattie.

Now we got a fattie that can't pay his bills.

That means your CC company considers your vacation to be too pricey for your income.

If you did it to get points, just pay it off and your score will bounce back up.

Oh, and Money Board.

If you're gonna brag/lie, do your research, credit scores don't go that high. Jackass.

They are really dumb. It'll be back up when you pay it off next month. Mine does it every time I put a large purchase on the card. It always goes right back up the next month when I pay it off. I prefer the credit card points.

I put the majority of our expenses on our credit card and never notice a dip in credit scores...at least the free FICA one my bank provides. It's consistently above 800.

I really wish that actually mattered considering how many people have credit issues. Like I should get a free check or something each month. Yeah. That would make me happy. Money for good credit. I just need the money.

...don't tell my bank.

I don't even know my credit score. I need a loan I call my local bank and get a loan. Haven't even filled out a credit app in 20 years.

My wife had 4 credit cards when we met. We paid them off and haven't used one in 11 years.

All a good credit score really indicates is how well you are a slave to the banking industry. Nothing more, nothing less.

You should have it monitored. I found out someone opened an account in my name because I got an alert.

You'd have to get it to where you have 20%-30% or more (I think each agency uses a different cut off?) of your available credit used to make a difference.

Pretty easy to avoid that with higher limits and multiple accounts.

I've never had my credit score swing that much.
