Just moved into a new home and need to get a mower. Give me some OT suggestions for a small yard. Gas, electric, etc.? Brand?

Like subdivision homes 12 inches apart type small yard?

Get something cheap. Don't need anything fancy.

Honda at least for the motor.

The commercial line of Honda mowers is expensive but they are wonderful.

I had a self-propelled Craftsman (prior to getting lawn service.) Treated it like shite but every spring I would go to crank it up and it would go on the first pull. Great mower.

This. I've had a Lawn Boy mower/Honda motor for about 10 years. Still starts on the first pull. Definitely worth the extra $

Not sure what model i have, but i am team Honda. When mowing a remove the bag attachment and it doesn't seem to matter. Don't like dumping it several times during. Bag attachment i will use for leaves if i dont feel like raking. Sucks them all up with litte effort.

I've been very happy with my Honda gas mower. Go on Home Depot's website and look at the ratings and comments.

I've been considering an ego battery powered lawn mower. Get one and then give me your thoughts.

I use this for my small backyard. The only reel mower that doesn't suck.
