OP, get back with us in about two weeks.

It's way too early of a forecast to be accurate.

The super freeze in 89 blew up Exxon Mobile.

1982, we had a week of rediculous winter weather. On a monday it was 3 degrees. The next night wasn't as cold, but still well below freezing and it rained. Was without power for days.

We went fishing at Cocodrie that winter-the Redfish were so cold they were swimming on the top of the water and we could net them!! Had a great fish fry that night..

The coldest temps ever recorded in south LA happened those couple of days.

I think it was 89 or 90 that the Rez froze over all the way across.

Seems like 1983 was when the Red River froze over in S'port. High temps during the day were in the teens for days.

This and were I worked at, I had to work thru that night in it. Everything was breaking. Three powerplant units went down that night even though we gave it hell to keep them running.

I remember that. It was January of '82, got down to 4 degrees here on the prairie.

When we got back to school after the break, we had new neighbors in the apartment next to ours in Tigerland. A water pipe had broken and their apartment was all messed up.

Some nice gals from Alexandria. It was fun helping to keep them warm!
