I'm just pointing out a golf course is a high risk high reward venture. I think getting some big tournaments at the course will be crucial to it being an overwhelming success. I'm not necessarily anti-golf course, just not sure that there isn't something they could have built that's more profitable.

I posted this on the msb but I grew up with his older sister and she's fine as hell. Especially back in the late 90s

...That's my point. Previous use does not dictate future use.

so if im right, all of kenner, metry, midcity, uptown, and downtown should be bulldozed and made back into marshland?

it is an abandoned golf course, and city is willing to make it into a money making new golf course...........i think something that should make money is better than useless "nature" so hippies can still have a place to use drugs out in the open.

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. The argument was made that it used to be a golf course, so it should be a golf course now. I'm saying it doesn't have to be a golf course because it was s golf course, just as most of the GNO area shouldn't be kept a swamp because it was a swamp. Needs change.

And again, just because I'm against a second golf course doesn't mean I'm for an overgrown "hippie" open space. I think there are better uses for the space besides the proposed golf course and the current giant ragweed forest.

What if once this course is up in running the old course gets turned into "hippie" green space ?

New Orleans with the tourism, conventions, and big events it host really needs a championship caliber golf course. However like usual we might be too late to the party.

I think he's local. A contractor/renovator I've used a few times is named Boover. Lloyd Boover resembles this guys son enough that he's got to be another son or a nephew. And they are Facebook Friends.

Boover the renovator is a conservative christian, he must be very disapoint.

I'm still waiting to hear that he's related to Nicole Boover.
