This is actually grammatically incorrect as well. In the English language, if the gender is unknown, it is proper to use the third person masculine pronoun. Due to the recent rise in 'gender equality', there has been a push to use female or gender neutral pronouns.

Exactly. If people with dicks acted men, we wouldn't have a need for pronoun pins in an adult institution.

You calling yourself a man is just as logical. You don't do anything in your life a woman can't do. You're way closer to "woman" than the original form of the male Homo sapiens. Unless you want to argue that you have an inability to comprehend it that would make you regress back more to the comparison to the latter.

You're not being grammatically correct, I believe. It should be what does he or she want or what does that person want?

Oxford English Dictionary

quote:

The word they (with its counterparts them, their, and themselves) as a singular pronoun to refer to a person of unspecified gender has been used since at least the 16th century. In the late 20th century, as the traditional use of he to refer to a person of either gender came under scrutiny on the grounds of sexism, this use of they became more common.

So I don't think either of us is wrong.

Probably the most traditionally grammatically correct response would be "what does he want?" regardless even if I don't know that it's a man.

Oh look, an effeminate man explaining to men what being masculine means. How cute.

Stop your queersplaining, shitlord!

Notice you didn't say you know how to mine for coal or drag a dead bear back to the cave with your bare hands.

Tien a pig loose and he grows hair and tusks by the end of the week. Domestication makes species different. We are domesticated. We changed. Tarzan didn't sit in front of a QWERTY and gossip with anonymous people (not a whole lot of things more womanly) for a living.

No I got your point but you move the goal post to win an argument.

quote:

Literally every step away from the cave and toward the McMansion has served to blur the gender divide.

Again, there's still quite a bit that divides the TWO genders. You are oversimplifying it by basing the majority of your argument on professions and women having fewer kids.

BTW, no matter how many kids a woman has, the fact that they can/do have kids is a HUGE difference so that point of your argument is very flawed.

I would be such a raging a-hole douchebag to everyone on campus if I had to go through college now seeing all this stupid bullshite. I would intentionally piss off every single one of them just to tell them to frick and dare them to do something. This is honestly the dumbest shite.

I'd love for people to post their occupations when they ridicule stuff like this. I bet none of you do anything in your life that a woman can't do just as well.

Most of us do things for a living that require critical thinking and no feats of strength and that women can do just as well. Since the functional gender divide isn't as clear as it was before WWII, gender identity has become less important.

Basically hardly any of us break a sweat or risk injury all day...like chicks.

So tell me about all that other stuff that matters, then. You've said and/or implied twice that there's more to it than that.
