According to police, the robbery happened just before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Raising Cane's located at 3344 Williams Boulevard. The restaurant was closed and two employees had just went outside to throw out the trash when the incident began when two men wearing gray hoodies approached the employees.

The robbery was captured on surveillance video. Kenner Police said the men robbed the restaurant and stabbed Taylor Friloux, a 21-year-old a shift manager, multiple times.

She suffered stab wounds to the head, neck and chest. Police believe she was stabbed once outside the store and then forced inside to open the safe. All of the contents of the safe were removed, police said. After clearing out the safe, the men began to flee, but Every stopped and continued to stab Friloux, police said.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where she was initially listed in critical and unstable condition early Wednesday. Gerry Cvitanovich, the Jefferson Parish coroner, later confirmed the victim died from multiple stab wounds. The victim was identified as Taylor Friloux. One suspect was taken into custody. According to Kenner police employees at Raising Canes identified Josh Every, 23, as one of the possible suspects in stabbing, which led police officers to his home.
