Yeah, I've never understood what people see in Lafayette. I'd rather live in lake charles.

Same here. The city itself is cool, but Broussard, Youngsville and Scott are very less than desirable places to live IMO.

Yeah. Because Central, Scotlandville, and baker are so awesome.

Or for LC Sulphur, Iowa, and Moss bluff.

Lafayette is the second best city on the state and it is a large gap after that.

I heard this over the weekend. So many incoming freshmen will never know the joys of keg juice and sorostitutes pissing in sinks.

I always hear about these things a little too late. I talk to my parents every few days.

Would you have introduced yourself?

Lafayette is a dump. Baton Rouge ain't a great place, but it's far and away better than that dump in south LA.

You sure? My girlfriend from high school got into ULL with a 19 or 20 and I barely got into LSU with a 24.

ULL - Have an ACT composite score of 23 or 1050 SAT Critical Reading+Math (CR+M) - See more at: LINK /

LSU - The ACT requirement consists of a 22 composite score, with an 18 English subscore and a 19 math subscore. - LINK /

That looks like one of the guaranteed admission criteria for ULL, i.e., you have to meet that or a GPA requirement. I don't know if students are guaranteed admission if they meet the criteria listed on LSU's website.

Personally I couldn't care less, but I don't like people not painting the full picture online.

The requirements actually say a 2.5 OR a 23 on the ACT. Which means that they could have a 2.0 GPA and a 23 and get admitted, or an 18 and a 2.5 GPA, or have below and 18 with a 2.5 but take the remedial courses over the summer before you start school.

LSU's requirements are a 22 AND a 3.0 GPA. The "and" makes a fairly big difference.

My routine was start the night early at the Keg for free admission and quarter beers, and then after 10 or so, periodically head over to Changes for a flaming dr pepper.
