Swimming? Are we using legislature to limit PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
You know, physical activity could help improve the health of some of these folks.
Maybe they just don't want to swim with them anymore
Oh come on now....like the people on welfare going to the pools with their 12 kids were doing laps in the pool

You show me someone who swims for exercise and I'll show you someone who is not on government assistance.

So apparently you know what restrictions this person had on said card. I am really not smart enough to figure any of this out, not afraid to say that, but I believe(know), there are many people out there abusing the system. If the system is used to keep your head above water then its doing its job IMO, if its allowing for steak dinners 3 times a week to me it isnt.

Is it far based to come to that assumption, especially since every other stipulation seemed rather legitimate?

Let's have the protein blocks like in Snowpiercer.
If that isn't a motivator to get off welfare I don't know what is.

No, I dont. Which is why I don't say anything when I see someone use it. Maybe you should try that.

Do you know that?
Banning them from swimming is like banning them from walking.
You're literally physically disabling people for being poor and in need of assistance.
That's as morally corrupt as it gets. I bet the law maker is a "Christian" as well.

Young children don't deserve a chance to Learn how to swim?

Using these funds other than purchasing staples at the grocery store or keeping the lights on should be verboden. And welfare should be completely temporary.

We should do away with warfare, and have stations across the country that gives out rice and beans.

What did I say that's racist ?
Someone give me a legitimate Reason for why its beneficial to the assistance recipient to be physically disabled from maintaining or improving their health or helping their kids acquire a SURVIVAL SKILL

Yes. I hardly ever see white people in public pools especially anyone with enough power to be drafting and writing bills. Chances are they can afford their own pool.
You just have to find ANYTHING you can to relate it back to race or oppression just like every other black person that makes excuses instead of seeking to fix the problem within their own group and accept the responsibilities that come with doing so.

If we were fish that would be correct. But we do not live in water and it isn't our primary mode of transport.
But walking...that is free for everyone. My father can't afford a gym membership and has been walking in his neighborhood more for exercise (per doctor's orders to lower his weight and help with his high blood pressure/cholesterol and type 2 diabetes).

I am not a complete shithead. I dont know her circumstances and honestly dont care to. You werent there, it was her mannerisms that created the issue to me. She obviously knew some of the items would be rejected but tried to get them anyways. At least the $40 easter baskets didnt ring up as food items. I am not saying that her or her family dont deserve having anything they want just that I dont want to help pay for the extras the deem necessary.

The only person that sees that as a logical conclusion is you. Of course you have a deranged, pessimistic and unreasonable view of society, so I can definitely see how you would connect those non-existent dots.
