I wouldn't end it over this, but I'd certainly be on the lookout for similarities that I couldn't/wouldn't want to deal with.

That's a bad sign. If she doesn't think her mom is kind of a weird loser than you shouldn't be getting too serious with her. Marriage is such a horrible proposition for men in the year 2014 to begin with - you'd better be damn sure before you settle with anybody.
On the bright side - just keep dating her until you figure it out - it's not like you're going to propose in the next 12 months.

I've never heard of girls sharing the same emotional traits as their mother. But who knows.
Physical traits down the line is a completely different story.

Depends on if you're trying to wife your gf up. If its just a college thing, who gives a frick? Enjoy the pussy while you can….If its more serious, I'd probably be concerned.
At the very least, having crazy in-laws would be a hassle

More importantly... Did the GF give you a little sects while at her moms? If so, congrats on the sects and you may need to continue on that course a little longer. But I would discourage marrying a girl whos mom is her best friend. Dodged that bull myself and everytime I see one of her looney Snapchats, I pat myself on the back for dodging it hahaha

It seems like many of the mom's problems are from being lonely. Your GF may not turn out like this as long as you are together.

Leave now and don't think twice about it. I did it and it was a complete nightmare. 21 yrs later I have both kids and raising them by myself. Yesterday day was Mother's Day and I think it was the 1st time they spent it with her in the past 6 7 yrs.

That'll never turn out good. The drunken old crone will always be a pain in your arse, and in one fashion or another, most girls do turn into their mothers. x axis = how good is the secks, y axis = how big of a pain the arse they both become, when they approach intersecting...GTFO

Prayers to you and the kiddos. My wifes postpartum was so bad I thought I may sadly end up that route, but luckily she has come back around. I applaud those parents who do it solo.

Whether or not your gf turns out like her, without a doubt she has some serious issues ingrained in her head and they may not even show up until later on down the road when the pressure gets turned up via marriage and kids.
Probably need to GTFO.

No.

My gf is already a bit emotional and drinks a lot
Did she condone her mother's behavior or did she not think anything was wrong?
ETA: I see this was already asked.

You should definitely tell her that after long conversations with the OT and careful rational thought you need to break up with her because her mother is crazy. Sounds perfectly reasonable.

Does she live with her mother?

Wow, I'm impressed, there's actually been solid advice in here mixed in with awful advice. Here's more advice:
She sounds like she has a very codependent relationship with an undermatured mother figure, more of a sister than a mom. You should respect this but approach it with caution, don't condone or condemn it. She's still maturing as an adult because her adult role model hasn't fully matured yet. You have an opportunity to help in this maturing process and be a part of her becoming an independent and mature woman. So you should totally put a baby in her, that should fix shite.

But the question is whether or not he wants to do that with someone he has only been seeing for 4 months.
