For good reason.....all my oilfield buddies brag about their work weeks.....I giggle.
I work salary and OT....somebody has to do anesthesia at night.....nobody out works a specialized healthcare professional in the U. S.

I don't want to believe that is true. Everyone wants great healthcare for all. The difference is how to pay for it. In terms of doctors, they have enough educational success to get into one of the most difficult fields. They likely could have success at other fields if they put forth the same effort. By making the field less lucrtive, these high performers will begin to focus elsewhere. The system can't get better as the providers decline.
