As I parent I hope I never face this situation.
I agree. I would certainly not abandon the older child and would continue to support him/her in every way possible but I just believe all children deserve to be safe in their own homes. (not trying to infer that you don't, btw)

The eldest daughter is not married.
Two of the older daughters are married and live in homes the family provided. As far as I have seen, no one has broken away.

It's funny watching people defend and minimize this. If Josh's dad was a homosexual or a gay rights activist, those same people would use this as evidence of how that lifestyle leads to degenerate children.
