I know he now lives in New Orleans, anyone had any personal experiences?

I've only read good things about him myself.

I know he's fat. Fat people are usually very happy people. I like happy people because they make me happy.

He played two of my favorite characters ever. Dan Conner and Walter Sobchak.

I wouldn't say he's great, but I would say he's a pretty Goodman

Might be a good man, but I question his intelligence for making such a decision.

If Rex posts in this thread, Joe Gemelli's Fit 'Em All Shop better have a 62 Long Black Suit in stock.

If John Goodman plops his fat arse down on your toilet, you better get the plunger ready.

He BEEFS.

He’ll drop 5 or 6 forearm-sized logs in there with no flushes in between. Rumor has it that on the set of “Monsters Inc” he used to shite in the shower and heel it down the drain.

Walking down Freret street last year, saw him sitting outside the Philly cheesesteak place across from Dat Dog. He was absolutely CRUSHING a Philly cheese. I left him alone but he seemed really really awesome.

He went to Affton HS, where i graduated. He was there a couple of times and had rules, like you cant look at him, talk to him, etc.

Interesting tidbits:

When your watching revenge of the nerds, near the end, when Goodman is announcing the Seniors at the Bonfire, all of the names he reads are former Buddies he played football with at Affton. He names a Kevin O'Leary, which was his best buddy.

Had no idea Goodman was in that movie. But I haven't watched Revenge of the Nerds in years.
