Why do we need to name the parade grounds anything?

Good. Let Carville ostracize himself from the LSU base with his fake-Cajun, "Ah'm the Ragin' Cajun!", Serpentor, "Ah'm a good ole boy but ah' like me some Yankees" bullshite.

frick that guy and everyone that defends him.

Please expand on your reasoning. Sherman did nothing but good things for LSU.

I'm all for it! We should include a statue of Sherman and a Louisiana Tiger

that's what they wanted to do with a building, CEBA I think, when I was there, almost a revolution, Carville is an arse, wearing an LSU shirt doesn't make him less of one

Does Carville know that Sherman was for slavery, and especially Savage to the Indians? He fought for the Union because of succession not because of slavery. It really is crazy to me how people that are obviously smart can be so, so stupid at the same time. All you have to do is Google the guy and read for 5 minutes before opening your mouth.

I don't think I'm neccissarily against naming something after Sherman, but the guy stood for everything Carville is against.

It's getting named after somebody.

It's going to either be Sherman or our future first transgender football player.

It's Scruffy's choice.

Sherman would never pass muster.
His career as an Indian fighter in Florida, Georgia and out West would do him in.

He used his considerable influence to help restart LSU after the war and donated books from his personal collection for the lbrary. LSU has several buildings named after Confederates. Most of them had no connection to the University. Sherman is at least an LSU man.

He was on the winning side. Don't we want to be associated with winners?

You're unpatriotic if you support the confederacy.

Hmm, Sherman had more actual connection with LSU and LA than R.E. Lee. Interesting.
