As stated in a later post, she watches the kid when we are home, but doing house/yard work. It's practice for later when she is older and can babysit without us there.

Funny you should mention "neg".
I quit using that term after college as I progressed through my career, starting in Atlanta, then New Orleans, then Baton Rouge, etc.
Only started saying it again once I moved back onto the Cajun Prairie. Got to be careful with that.

Good, because there's no comparison between Acadiana and the culturally sterile shithole of Baton Rouge. At least people TALK to each other here, regardless of what endearing terms they may use.
