It's time for me to move

Today I used a phrase that I find deplorable. It marks the user as an uneducated bumpkin. I haven't used the phrase in a long time. In fact, once I left the Acadiana area, I didn't even hear it uttered. But somehow someway, I just came out of my mouth, and I know it's because I live in Acadiana again.
I saw my neighbor and her daughter (she's 11 no pics perverts) at the grocery store. The daughter watches our 1 year old daughter some times. I told my neighbor hello and turned to the girl and said it. "Hey boo."
Now, for you non Acadiana dwelling folks, boo isn't a term just used for your SO. It can be directed at basically anybody at anytime except between 2 men.
I don't know how or why hey boo came flying out of my mouth but it was so natural it scared me. That's it, we are hitching up the wagons and heading back east. BR may be a traffic hell, crime ridden dump, but no one there says "Hey boo."
TLDR: I'm talking like a coonass again and need to move.

Buddy of mine is fron raceland. He moved to Texas for a few years. Moved back last year. I can no longer speak to him on the phone because i do not understand him and yalls coonass phrases.

What's wrong with that? She watches her while we are home and doing house/yard work. She needs to practice baby sitting. In, 2/3 years we will have a built in babysitter.
