That's reactionary to the crisis, I mean protest the gangs, the people who don't "snitch" the hoods.

I mean yeah it sucks that the guy was killed by police, but how many people are killed every day by thugs?

i thought it was well said:

That's it. I can't take anymore of this stuff early this morning. Everyone seems to have something to say about what's going on in Baltimore. It is absolutely heartbreaking to see a city torn apart like that and to see so many angry young people, but I have a question. How valuable is a life? We can name just about every black person in the last 5 years killed by a police officer, but can't name 5 people who were killed in our own community at the hands of our own people black people. We march and protest and even destroy when we see a black male killed by a white man, but have no reaction at all of a black killing another black. How valuable is a life?! Is one any more DEAD than the other because a white man killed him? I've seen ?#?blacklivesmatter? trending for years. So those lives didn't matter when it was a black killing a black, just when a white did? SMFH. Until we can deal with our own problems, right here in our community, we can't expect the respect that we out there fighting to get. We can't even respect eachother but demand respect from everyone else. Then we quick to say well white people do the same thing (destroy stuff) and nobody says anything. In some instances this is true, but does that still make it right for us to do it? Aren't we supposed to be trying to be the "better people"? You want real change? Then get out there and make it happen!!! Put people in office that have your best interests at heart, groom young people for leadership positions, stop complaining about the cops being white until we start grooming and raising some black boys and girls for those positions. REAL CHANGE MEANS LOOKING IN THE MIRROR AND SAYING "I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. Let's fix it together!!!"
