Again, my issues were from running. Changed shoes and like magic, completely gone.

Go find a good PT who does dry needling. Should knock it out in 1-2 treatments. We see this every day and needling works exceptionally well on this.

Yea, mine are from running as well. I just bought a pair of Saucony Zealots, which have a neutral sole. So hopefully they will help.

The pain is from the center of my arse down my hip to the side of my knee.

It's funny because I've been running steady for the past 7 years and never had a problem. Started this program and the other day did a heavy dose of lunges and now I'm dealing with pain in a spot where I've never have before. I've had other issues but nothing like this.
I've been stretching it and on the foam roller all afternoon and it's starting to losen up a bit.
Just took some Celebrex so hopfully I can get some relief

Google Kelly Starrett. He has a ton of mobility work to help relax that band. You need to move up the band. It's basically tight somewhere close to your pelvis and pulls it tight down your leg. Mine is always around the hip area. You've got to start high and roll down going towards your feet. I use a lacrosse ball and do about 12 inches then work down.
