PCB condos the last couple of years. Little out of the way place. But I have young kids and am not into the whole nightlife scene and tons of college aged kids all over the place. If there's a decent pool to swim in, a nice beach to park a chair, umbrella, and cooler on, and good weather, I don't really care what it is called or whatever is the new in place to be. My folks used to have a place in Destin. That was awesome all through college and for several years until they sold it.

We've got a spot in Seagrove next month and some people want to go scalloping...they said Apalachicola...but damn that's a haul. Have you ever been from there, worth it?

Apalachicola would be the best place for scalloping, but

Seagrove is the worst of all 30A communities and is still better than anything else outside of 30A. For the OP, Rosemary remains my favorite followed by Watercolor and Seacrest North.

Outside of 30A, Mexico a Beach and Cape San Blas are the best underdeveloped areas IMO.

Too long for me, how long are you down there for?

I'd make a return trip to Apalachicola or Port St. Joe or something closer and do it, though.

Seaside is the worst to me. Seagrove used to be great and one of the truer beach towns in the area. Has gotten a little cheesier though.

I think just a week. Finally got a group together so we rented a big house on the beach. We usually stay on the lakes somewhere...but not this time, pool and all.

we go to seaside or RB every summer for the last 7-8 years or so. It has definitely become more popular due to its clean, non trashy, beautiful, safe environment. We always go the first week of May. Just got back from RB a couple weeks ago and it wasnt bad at all. just gotta time it right. But they are building it up like crazy. any piece of land has construction on it. Won't be long and it will be overrun.
