I have liked it every time I've been. BR basically has LSU and bars IMHO. Not much else going on, so LR > BR

LR is far superior to BR IMO. The downtown is entertaining enough and continues to be revitalized. Would suggest Hillcrest as a neighborhood to live in.

But other cities have better bars.

I've taken the new airline GLO out of NOLA to Little Rock a few times for work and have enjoyed myself each time I've been. Suggestion would be to take a quick trip up there and check it out for yourself.

Imagine baton rogue moved north into REAL winters. REAL tornadoes.

It snows < 2 inch per year. That's hardly winter

I guess a REAL tornado is like a hurricane without the water?

Ive lived in both and its not close. BR is way better and I'm not even a huge fan of BR. Little Rock is what BR would be if LSU was in shreveport and Nola was suckier and twice as far away in another state. Little Rock has a loop (traffic still sucks), has some really nice areas, and has hills. But it depends on what you love to do which one would be better for you.

And one of my favorite things about BR is the location. An hour away from Nola and everything to do there but without having to live in Nola. Close to the gulf for drinking and fishing, close enough to nice beaches to just make a weekend out of it. Between mardi gras, jazzfest, all the other festivals, LSU events, the beach, Saints games, and Pelicans games, I could do things in a weekend that people who live in some states plan their vacations around.

Yes, because their governor is not a wall-eyed white Obama.

Lived in both places.
Baton Rouge better by a bunch for me. Some of the areas around LR are ok but they are mostly full of people that didn't want to live in LR.

What do you think about GLO? I took it up to LR for work right when they started. Cut down on the travel time by 3-4 hrs. Only bad thing was that the new Saab planes hadn't been delivered yet, so we had to take an older plane.

Never lived in LR but have visited on more than one occasion. I found BR's downtown to be much nicer.

This thread is really sad. I'm like "Bangkok or Melbourne?"
