Is Georgia still around? I heard that they'd be a wasteland by now for opening up.

Went to St.Simons last week. Wide open. Ate indoors. Plenty of people sitting on the still Covid-free beach.

As many Trump flags as American or state of Georgia. Need some Kemp flags!!

1. Take this to the Poli board where this "joke" has already been posted three or four times

2. It's only just been two weeks, if cases are going to rise it should only just he starting, deaths would have another ~2 week delay after that.

You didn't hear that on your CNN. They can't wait two weeks to report doom and gloom.
Five minutes after an opening up, a story of death is aired

Georgia is ahead of the game. At least as far ahead as the Falcons were over the Patriots in the Superbowl or the Bulldogs were over Alabama in those two big games.

The day Alabama opened, the media was harping on an uptick in "cases" even though those cases would have clearly had to arisen during the time the shut down order was in effect. Face it, the shut down strategy has been a sham and a failure.

Pretty sure the point there, and in all similar stories, was that they're reopening DESPITE cases going up, not that cases are going up because they're reopening.

I know that's a difficult distinction to make.

It's barely been a week since they re-opened so I'd hold off on declaring it a success.

And it's still only fatal to less than 0.02% of the population. This lockdown is, and always was, a pointless endeavor to appease people who make their decisions based on their feelings.
