It's an outlet for male aggression that we're taught by society to repress. The male fondness for guns isn't creepy. It's very natural I'd say. It's interesting that it makes you uncomfortable though. That is a more intriguing topic easily IMO.

Sure. I'm talking about the guys spending chunks of their pay checks, carrying them everywhere they go, breaking them out ARs at parties where people are drinking. The ones that make me feel like they are anticipating an opportunity to shoot someone. Like this ex cop that blew the guy away in the theater.

people focus on all kinds of things, we have some dudes at work that talk nothing but fantasy football 24-7. Some people shoot guns, some play fantasy football. It's all good

This thread gets repeated often. Once, on the Poli Board, some poster used the gratuitous "I'm not anti gun, I own an AR" then went on to say that AR was short for assault rifle.
