I'm going to Europe on a 2 week vacation and need a Watch. I am outdoors a ton and fish, hunt, ride 4 wheelers & SxSs, ride jet skis, etc. So I'm really hard on watches. The Luminox Leatherback Sea Turtle didn't last 3 years. It shite the bed this weekend riding muddy trails in Mena, AR.

I'm needing something relatively along those lines. 200-500 bucks so I don't care if it gets dinged up or whatever.

Any ideas? I did like the Luminox but like I said, I was hard on it and it was quartz which is frowned upon by watch guys (I'm not one).

$35. I'm sure it can handle your 4 wheeling experiences.

If you broke a quartz Luminox you'd probably destroy an automatic watch even faster. Get a G-Shock. That's what they're built for.

Any reason you're not considering G-Shock? Those will handle whatever you throw at them.

Hamilton Khaki Field watch for the top end of your budget, citizen garrison eco-drive for the lower end would be my suggestion. G shock if you are really going to beat it up.

I'd consider a G Shock if they have them in non-digital and the face isn't cluttered and busy.

I’d go with the cheapest watch you can find that does the job. This isn’t for showing off just get a g shock

I'm "retired" and don't work so I'm playing outside everyday. I'm not trying to impress anyone with a watch.

Closest you'll get to an analog G-Shock is their ana-digi series. I have one and I like it.

14 years serving the good old Army in some tough environments. My favorite simple watch that survived lots of crazy shite was Timex Ironman. I love the G Shocks, but they are bulky and get caught on stuff. I love the customer service of Rockwell.
