I'm starting to notice a lot of people successfully walking their cats

on a leash like a dog. Anyone else seeing this trend? Don't really recall seeing that until the last year or so.

Do you live in a nursing home?

Haven't seen that.

Anyway, I don't know about teaching cats to walk on a leash but I've been trying to teach cats how to swim by throwing them into bodies of water. No luck so far though.

Probably Bengals. They act a bit like dogs. Will fetch and go in the water.

No. Near downtown Long Beach. It's hipsters and gays doing it mostly

This one cat (just a regular looking house cat) that I just met was definitely trained. It was a trip

Invite me over for a beer and I can ensure your neighborhood will be cat free.

That is odd. A saw a lady walking a cat down the road without a leash. Stupid cat was obeying just like a dog.

Only time in my life that I’ve seen it was at an apartment complex where all pets had to be leashed when outdoors
It was odd

I don't know. But the cat was behaving like a dog. She would let him stop and sniff stuff but he stayed within the leash length and looked at her as if he understood he was being walked.

My cat walks on a leash with no problems. He is trained and travels with us.

That’s so gay. I think I’d laugh if I saw that while out walking my miniature poodle Ms. Prissy.

Where I live nobody walks any animal on a leash. They don't walk animals at all. I live in 700 acres in the middle of nowhere. I have cats who mostly hunt mice and sleep. Except for the uber spoiled indoor cat who I got when my folks demanded grandkids.
