Your boy Pecker has a philosophy when it comes to this. If you're unfit to be single on the open market, then you're unfit to be in a relationship. There's a psychological aspect to this of course. There's also the more obvious physical aspect.

What's the first thing a lot of dudes do when they unfortunately find themselves single after a broken relationship? They hit the gym. They eat better. They start dressing better. Working to increase their market value. Working to make themselves a better version of what they were at the end of the relationship. Why is that? Why wait for everything to go south before being better?

I stay ready to hit the open market, not because I think I'll ever be on it again, but because if I'm physically and psychologically healthy enough to be alone in the wild and thrive, then I'm where I need to be in the relationship. I'm working on my market value for me, because I want to be better. I want to be someone that I would want to be with and have sex with. And I am.
