I don't see how doing something that you have no control over is exhilarating beyond some initial scare phase. Cheating death under your own devices is what's exhilarating.

No thanks. I did a tiny bungee jump and discovered that I don't enjoy the sensation of falling.

You have complete control.. You're falling through the sky doing flips and shite. You can literally do anything. And then you control the parachute... Lot of control right there.

I'm of the mindset that I would rather ride the burning plane to the ground than jump from it if I had to.

You'd literally have to set the plane on fire for me to jump out of it.

A guy at work used to skydive. One day he didn't open his chute. He always talk how exhilarating the ride down was. I guess he decided to get the ultimate experience.

Same here. He was a concrete form rep. and also taught sky diving. Talked to him before quitting time one Friday and that that next Monday found out he died while jumping with a few others. Kinda surreal. Here today - gone tommorow

Yet the OT knows many people who died.

Top Three in my Life Goals

My palms start sweating just watching him get that close (around 1:15).

frick that, he almost died like 3 times in that video

I assume by "top 3 life goals" you are talking about using the wing suit only and not doing that same run he did

You'd be singing a different tune, though a jaw wired shut and from ICU (if you're lucky) if your chute hadn't opened, brah.
