I'm usually thankful it was just a hair.

Not happening, I love peanut butter too much. Have a down vote for even bringing it up.

If it's in something my wife or I has cooked, just remove the hair. If it's at a restaurant, the food is going back.

I usually remove it and go about my business Hair is everywhere, it's almost impossible to avoid it from happening occasionally

Hell no. Have a downvote for making me puke.

I almost relost my lunch thinking about it again.

To the OP, I'm not gonna lie. I take my food serious, to serious.
I'll lose my shite. Send food back, get money back and never, ever eat there again.
I've worked in restaurants in college. 99.9% of the time, if there is something extra in your food. It's on purpose. Whoever works the expo line checks the food before it leaves the window.

pull out and act like it wasn't there. Some people are worried about the stupidest shite. Like a hair is the dirtiest thing that is in your food. LOL.

Call the waiter over and express my frustration, then never come back to the restaurant
Posted on 6/1/15 at 1:35 pm to CenturionTiger
pull it out and look for more. Don't need the added protein.

Eat the hair, throw away the food.

Exactly. Don't be a pussy, no one ever died from "hair-poisoning".

If I'm paying someone else to make my meal for me, there better not be a hair in it. Or a fingernail or whatever else that I can know about. If I don't know it, it doesn't count... if I DO know it, it's going back with quickness. Even if I've already eaten 98% of it. It's inexcusable.

I understand both sides of the argument and don't think any less of the people who want it remade. I just eat it doh.

Save it to floss my teeth with after I finish the meal.
