Diagree. I'm a hunk, a lot of Ohio people came from KY so they know how to cook, and I have a snowmobile.

Just move to New Orleans or one of it's commuter cities and live life. You won't be eating at Outback, Red Lobster, and Olive Garden any more if you have half a brain.

You will probably also meet people that aren't that interested in your investment portfolio or where you vacation home is located.

Im going to be quite honest. I get on Louisiana's arse a lot, but there really isn't much in Ohio that I'd say I would want over Louisiana.

We have our ugly, oh trust me, we've got the ugly, but after you weigh everything I'd still take Louisiana over Ohio.

Climate, culture, music, history, food, access to seafood, Liberty, laid back giving people, values, etc. there's a lot that Louisiana has to offer. If the people valued it and our local flare more, there's no telling how fantastic it could be. Still, there really isn't any other place as rich as it is in things that are difficult to affix a price to.

People from Ohio are the reason why black people say that white people can't cook. Ever hear of using some fricking spices on your bland arse dry meat?

Them girls are rough too, bruh. I'm sorry.

Pro football hall of fame is ok though, so there's that

Louisiana has less of those slow arse drivers that hold traffic up for miles. Ohio is the worst in the country for that. That is just my experience.

Don't

Most people here stay for friends and family. The king cake, hunting, gumbo, Mardi Gras posts serve as ways for folks to convince themselves that it's the right choice to stay in such a dysfunctional state.

A nice crafish boil/gumbo cookout and watching LSU baseball/football

That's what I always look forward to.

All the things that make a place nice to live, Louisiana has almost none of them. Louisiana is, objectively, a terrible place to live. BUT the reason why I'm still here and the reason there is no place like it is the PEOPLE here are amazing. The most resilient, kind hearted, funny, wise, beautiful people you could ever hope to find in life are here. That would be the reason to choose to move here.
